Fairy-Tale Medieval Castle - Castello Di Vincigliata
This infinitely charming medieval castle belonged for centuries to important Florentine families, but was sold to cover debts and became completely abandoned in the 17th century
In 1840 a famous English politician and connoisseur of culture, history and entertainment, Sir John Temple Leader, was exploring the area and came upon the overgrown ruin of a medieval castle. He instantly fell in love with it and decided to restore it to its former glory.
Sir John decided that Vincigliata was the perfect place to host his many noble friends. In the pure spirit of Renaissance patronage, he commissioned an impressive amount of work, and 10 years later Vincigliata was reborn more beautiful than ever.
For nearly a century, the medieval castle has belonged to the Graetz family. Bought by the current owners’ grandparents who used it as their residence, the castle continues to enchant many couples and gives them a unique chance to experience the magic of a one-of-a-kind wedding.

Romantic Neo-Renaissance Villa - Villa La Vedetta
What can we say? If you belong to those kinds of people who sing: ”I want it all, I want it now”, - then Villa La Vedetta is for you. It is located in the heart of Florence, two steps from Piazzale Michelangelo and The Rose Garden – but while these popular spots are always crowded, the Villa offers you the same magnificent views of the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio in full serenity. It is surrounded by lush greenery and gardens and gives you a feeling of space and intimacy. A luxury hotel, the Villa possesses modern comfortable rooms and suites, has a swimming pool and a great restaurant on-site. But nothing in our opinion beats the magnificent terraces (the small one is located on the rooftop), which would make your wedding and your wedding photos unbelievably beautiful and almost surreal.
