About FEDERICO:
Federico is the owner, founder, and designer of Lilla Florals.
He graduated from the famous National School of Floral Art, Federfiori. Federico has since worked on luxury events, weddings, and corporate gatherings in Italy and Europe. He does most of his work in popular destination wedding regions: the Tuscany countryside, Siena, Florence, Lucca, Lake Como, Amalfi Coast, etc. Federico enjoys working closely with couples and introducing decor solutions that fit perfectly with their desired mood and style.

Lilla Florals is a distinguished design company that brings its magic touch to luxurious events across the Tuscan countryside and beyond. Not only do they create stunning floral arrangements, but they also design unique decorations and bridal accessories. Lilla Florals works destination weddings and elopements exclusively.
Can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today?
It all started in 2013, when my wife Serena and I opened a small flower shop in Terricciola, a town nestled in the Tuscan hills. This area is a well-known wedding destination, rich in accommodations and wineries. Following the many requests of our customers for our wedding services in Italy, we decided to specialize in destination wedding floral design. Lilla Florals was born in 2014, from our shared love of nature, and our mutual passion for using flowers as a tool to convey emotions in intriguing and beautiful ways. We have worked as freelancers alongside some of the best companies and biggest florists at the national and international levels.
Today, our flower shop has been transformed into our studio and showroom; we have a lab and stock located in Pisa. Our staff is made up of skilled personnel, florists and fitters, and we are always seeking new talent!
We work side by side with wedding planning agencies, catering services, musicians, light technicians, and many other quality vendors.
Lilla Florals – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We can cater to any and all floral design needs: from bouquets and table decorations to mandaps, chuppas, gazebos, and so much more. Our company can also create massive natural installations and suspended structures! We are able to customize and elevate any event, whether it takes place inside or outdoors.
I'm not sure what specifically sets us apart from our competition, as many of our peers in Tuscany are very skilled and professional. We have a beautiful relationship with other wedding florists and help each other often through the exchange of information, providing personnel, or even lending material.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on, and most proud of.
At the moment we are focused on designing a brand new design strategy for wedding decoration, one which encompasses the Lilla Florals philosophy. We have a few elements in mind that we’re excited to put together in innovative ways. Our goal is to create something awe-inspiring, to amaze our couples, and to give people a day they’ll never forget!

Understanding the concepts of line, shape and space has become vital in our work, as has striking a balance between color, pattern and texture.
Sharing experiences
We believe in sharing. We have learned a lot from others and are happy to share our own knowledge gained through workshops, photographs, stories, and social media.
Seasonal movements
We enthusiastically support flower growers, gardeners and floral designers who provide locally grown flowers.
